Blue and white

Kevin and I treated ourselves to a little time off this afternoon and drove down to Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth for lunch and a spot of retail therapy. It??s been a gloriously sunny day and the sky was so blue that it seemed a shame not to use my polarising filter to give it even more depth. It was my intention to take a photo of something other than the Spinnaker Tower to post today but I was so pleased with the minimalist feel and strong contrast of this shot that I couldn??t resist!

For a second, I thought it was a fencers visor. Neat composition.

Nice, beautiful, bold & strong. Love the shadows, angles and the subtle grade of blue in the sky!
