Weekly Theme "Macro Photography" | Relaunch (Announcement), Help, Feedback.

The Tuesday Inspiration: Messing about in boats

I was up early this morning to take my car into the garage for service so I decided to make the most of the early morning light and come home via Emsworth. Emsworth is a lovely little seaside town with a very active harbour and I figured that messing about in boats is an activity which people often enjoy as part of today??s theme. I took a stroll along the arbour wall and spotted some interesting wiggly reflections from one of the moored boats and just to be perverse I??ve converted them to monochrome as I thought that suited the strong lines best. Black and white is perhaps not the ideal reflection of today??s theme but that??s too bad as it made for a stronger photo! After that I wandered back through the town to the local boatyard to see if Scrabblehound was on guard duty. She was there but was in a very reflective mood and wasn??t awfully willing to pose today ?? had I been bearing doggy treats I think I may have received a warmer welcome! However, while I was there I spotted another nautical canine on board one of the boats under repair who posed very cutely for me. Next time I??m passing I shall have to take some appropriate gifts to say thank you and find out what he??s called!

Thanks to LevonTheLights for setting today??s theme. Last Tuesday??s theme was ??contrast??.. The following is a list of those who may be participating today. Look for posts dated Tuesday 20th July for their Tuesday Inspiration contributions.

I can't resist wobbly reflections!

Scrabblehound was chilled out this morning - it's too hot to be a black dog!

This cheeky chap (or chapess!) was helping with repairs in the boatyard.

I like is 1 the B&W he is well
As for the black dog, even if he is too much hot, would be necessary it's a pity to paint it in white!!

As hot as it's been around the world, this looks like the perfect Tuesday Inspiration! And, you're right - those squiggly reflections are really cool!!

Thanks for liking my little "beach baby". I prayed that I had that shot in focus when I saw her reach her arms up to her daddy!

The title seems vaguely reminiscent of something.... love the last dog pic - don't think you could have posed it better if you had tried.
