The Tuesday Inspiration: Completely contradictory!

by Helen Hooker September. 07, 2010 4400 views

I was really stuck as to how to illustrate today??s theme and ended up consulting Wikipedia for a dictionary definition to give me a helping hand. As I read the relevant article I saw a reference to Catch 22 by Joseph Heller and remembered we had a copy on our bookshelves. As you can see from its pristine cover, neither of us have read it, but its synopsis was perfect for the theme. The book is about a pilot who wishes to be relieved of duty on the grounds of insanity but cannot be because if he really were insane he would not have the sense to ask to be relieved of duty! I suppose I really ought to read the book now I??ve featured it here??

Thanks to Nellinka for setting today??s theme. Last Tuesday??s theme was ??verticality??. The following is a list of those who may be participating today. Look for posts dated Tuesday 7th September for their Tuesday Inspiration contributions. Alternatively, you could search using the following tag which will bring up all those who have labelled their TI post in this way: ti100907.

Don't know what the theme is, but the capture is cool. I still wonder how you focus in the center, with the top and bottom somewhat blurred.
