The Tuesday Inspiration: Perfectly balanced

by Helen Hooker September. 14, 2010 5110 views

I feel I??ve rather cheated using Chichester Cathedral yet again as my subject but it was the obvious choice for today??s Tuesday Inspiration theme. This is the window which sits at the end of the south transept, overlooking the cloisters. I used the marvellous Lightroom 3 lens correction tool to correct the odd perspective created by shooting from ground level ?? this is the view that would have been possible if I had been able to sit on top of the cloisters roof!

Thanks to Katarina (Passerine) for setting today??s theme. Last Tuesday??s theme was ??paradox??. The following is a list of those who may be participating today. Look for posts dated Tuesday 14th September for their Tuesday Inspiration contributions. Alternatively, you could search using the following tag which will bring up all those who have labelled their TI post in this way: ti100914.

Beautiful, wonderful contrast and detail. I think for these kind of things, correcting for the distortion is necessary in order to really due justice to the object.
