I had a couple of hours free at lunchtime today so I decided to make my annual visit to Slindon while the sun was shining to visit the pumpkin display there. I??ve taken some photos there for the last two autumns (see here [photoblog.com] and here [photoblog.com]) and the display today was as fantastic as ever. I took a few photos of this year??s big pumpkin picture (a steam train) but couldn??t really do it justice so I concentrated instead on the many shapes and colours I found among the individual pumpkins. My visit wouldn??t have been complete without saying hello to Gracie??s doppelganger ?? a rather handsome cat called Roger. He was snoozing in his cardboard box in the greenhouse this afternoon but he was more than happy to have his tummy rubbed and purred away blissfully. It only seemed fair that he should have his annual photo opportunity here as well as the pumpkins!
