Raiding the kitchen again

by Helen Hooker December. 13, 2010 4792 views

I??ve been busy this afternoon creating some Christmas gifts so I ran out of time to do anything particularly inspiring for today??s photo. Instead I raided the kitchen drawers once again for an abstract subject and came up with part of our garlic crusher which I lit with a torch. I know it??s a completely bonkers image but I was desperate!

Wonderful shot. To save time we always use Very Lazy Garlic, so it's nice to know that there is actually a use I can put my garlic crusher to ;-)

Looks good to me. I find shots born out of desperation often turn out to be the most creative and successful.

Despait has been the mother of invention and inspiration (thanks Revenant)... fabulous image for lighting and perspective :)

I join "revenant", for seen saying that the despair is source of inspiration! And I like this despair there: it has a rather strong taste

Ah, despair, the mother of photographic invention - and it worked, btw. I'm glad it's not just you and me in the TI; you'd really show me up.
