Gloomy weather photography

I was running rather low on options by the time I had time to do any photography today. Having finished my teaching for the day I found myself in Chichester under a leaden sky and with virtually no light to play with. I??m afraid I cheated and headed for my favourite haunt in times of photographic desperation ?? the Cathedral cloisters! This view is of the glazed part of the cloisters which, unfortunately, I had to shoot through a glass door. My shutter speeds were sinking perilously low so I??m amazed I managed to capture any images that were even reasonably sharp!

Oh I really like the effect in this one - I guess its the lensbaby - but it is perfect with the colouring

Uho. I never thought of a "quick living church". Everytime I think of churches, I feel quiet, peace, cessation... You turn my world up side down. :D thanks for that

Another very nice Lensbaby image, Helen! You're making me want to borrow my daughter's and try again. Great results you've come up with!!!
