I decided to take a miniature approach to today??s ??looking inside from outside?? theme and peered into some of the plants in our front garden. I found all sorts of creepy crawlies and managed to catch a few well focussed frames in between gusts of wind. Both photos have been cropped fairly heavily as I couldn??t get close enough to make the bugs large enough in the frame, even with my macro lens. The little black fellow I found inside a daffodil is absolutely tiny ?? no more than 2 millimetres long!

An excellent idea for the theme - the first is a great macros and such bright colours too.

I love these Helen. I really would like to get in as close as this. May I ask what lens you are using? Were you using Manual focusing?
