Blowin' in the wind

Today was the one working day of my visit to Cornwall but I still managed to find a photo opportunity in between waving my arms at recorder players and dodging the rain showers. On our way home Shirley and I stopped at the Carland Cross Wind Farm and, despite the overcast weather, I just about managed to find enough contrast between the enormous turbines and the grey sky. I used as slow a shutter speed as I dared in the blustery conditions to try and capture a sense of movement in the turbine blades. Let??s hope I get better weather for the rest of my visit now I??m officially on holiday!

The weather does not have make your holiday,
you have to do it yourself ... with your camera in your hand.

Nice capture!
