Having received Cat Hat from Sandra [photoblog.com]in Belgium I felt it was only right that I should broaden his education and teach him a little about medieval English architecture. The obvious venue for this was Boxgrove Priory [boxgrovepriory.co.uk], a beautiful 12th century church not far from here, so we took a trip there this morning while the sun was shining. I introduced Cat Hat to all the significant architectural features of the priory but we decided this archway was the best spot to show off his unique style. Thankfully I had the place to myself so no one saw me as I dashed between my chosen spot and my camera to get the focus and framing right while wearing a thick woolly hat in blazing sunshine!
The cat hat will now continue its journey in the UK eastwards, from West Sussex to Essex to visit Jon [photoblog.com].
