Having received Cat Hat from Sandra [photoblog.com]in Belgium I felt it was only right that I should broaden his education and teach him a little about medieval English architecture. The obvious venue for this was Boxgrove Priory [boxgrovepriory.co.uk], a beautiful 12th century church not far from here, so we took a trip there this morning while the sun was shining. I introduced Cat Hat to all the significant architectural features of the priory but we decided this archway was the best spot to show off his unique style. Thankfully I had the place to myself so no one saw me as I dashed between my chosen spot and my camera to get the focus and framing right while wearing a thick woolly hat in blazing sunshine!

The cat hat will now continue its journey in the UK eastwards, from West Sussex to Essex to visit Jon [photoblog.com].

What a wonderful shot, we laughed at the thought of you rushing about in the sunshine with the wooly hat.. you don't have to be mad to be a PB'er but it certainly helps...

Why travel around the world if you're not going to learn anything? Nice post!

Glad you decided to introduce history and culture to the Cat Hat. Since it is becoming SO well-traveled, one would think it gained at least something from its adventure!
