Middlesbrough contrasts

I had a few minutes to spare before I went in to listen to Kevin??s brass band contest this morning so I took a short detour to Middlesbrough Town Hall via the Middlesbrough Institute for Modern Art [visitmima.com]. It??s a rather striking modern building, sitting near several gothic Victorian buildings and this makes for a very dramatic contrast of architectural styles. I decided to shoot from directly beneath the building with my wide angle lens to capture the strong architectural lines and some reflections of the sky and surrounding buildings.
