I took my annual trip up to Slindon today to see the village??s autumn pumpkin display. I would normally go on a quiet weekday but I discovered today that the village is going to be featured on the BBC Countryfile []programme tomorrow evening and I figured it would be even busier than ever after that! The courtyard was full of parents and children so catching a photo of the main display (a picture of a wheelbarrow made entirely from pumpkins, squashes and marrows) was difficult. However, there were lots of individual pumpkins to shoot in the warm afternoon sunshine. My one disappointment was not seeing Roger [], the resident cat, who is an absolutely double of our old cat Gracie. No doubt he was hiding away somewhere so I can see I??ll just have to go back on a quieter day to say hello to him!

Great! In Germany you normally only get some watery orange ones you only can use for carving and not for eating...sadly but true. :)
Would love one of yours. :)

Such of the suns of the summer end, they shine our plates... And it is true whom to Roger is the twin brother of Gracie
