Autumn, pure and simple

I spotted this hazel leaf lying on our lawn as I hung the washing out on the line this afternoon and thought it might make a good autumnal image. I decided to treat it very simply, using some white paper as a background and illuminated with just the overcast light coming through my music room window.

      all is changing - leaf from green through yellow to brown....

      Beautiful shot with the white and the light :-) I love all colors of autumn leaves..have some on my dinette table as arrangement along with pecans, hickory nuts and acorns...guess I should post it..:-)

      It's simply magnificent, the texture and the colors contrasting magnificently well with the white bottom. It adds to the luminosity

      I approve of the simple treatment... it's so crisp that it looks like it's levitating off the background
