I woke up to some gloriously sunny autumn weather this morning so I made a point of popping out during my lunch break to find a photo while the sunshine lasted. I headed for the local park where there were some fairly slim photographic pickings. However, something about the texture of this latch caught my eye and I decided to take a creative approach with it, converting it to black and white using the trial version of Silver Efex Pro which I??ve recently downloaded. This particular effect is called ??Film Noir?? ?? hence the title of today??s post. It seems rather appropriate given that it??s Guy Fawkes Night tonight.

You've got a great eye for photographing the ordinary and turning it into the extraordinary! Really like the effects you put on this.
