A Trilogy of Pegs

by Helen Hooker February. 18, 2012 5572 views

Today??s photos were inspired by Lucy. A couple of times recently I??ve found her doing her best meerkat impression, standing on her hind paws to make herself taller in order to steal pegs from the pegbag which hangs in the corner of our living room. As I was tidying up today I found one of these pilfered pegs and wondered if it might make a good macro photo, thinking that a black and white conversion would bring out the texture of the wood effectively. In the end I shot several different compositions. I couldn??t decide which I liked best so I thought I??d offer them all here as a peg trilogy!

Do you also notice, the daily things are often the best subjects to photograph?
:-) Of course you do that, you prove to us time after time.
