I finally made it to Focus on Imaging, the UK??s biggest photography show, today. I??ve never been before so sheer selection goodies on offer was a little overwhelming. However, I think I saw pretty much everything and I managed to resist spending too much money. I had hoped to get my hands on the newly announced Canon 5D Mk3 but the crowds around the Canon stand were just too big and I gave up trying to wheedle my way to the front of the queue. I didn??t take huge numbers of photos but the best photo opps of the day were to be found on the Olympus stand. The big highlight of their show was an appearance by James and Ola Jordan of Strictly Come Dancing fame. They were theoretically there to publicise the new Olympus OM-D camera but in reality it was just a fantastic opportunity to see them dance. I got there early and secured a place in the front row and it was great fun trying to capture the energy and athleticism of their dancing. Watching them at such close quarters was amazing and I couldn??t help but marvel at their skill and musicianship.

My husband is also itching to get his hands on the Canon 5D mk III, but I am willing to guess he would also have been happy to watch this pretty young lady for a while instead...

I love the angle of the first shot and the close-up of her outfit in the second shot. I can't imagine wearing that, but she pulls it off beautifully.

What a glamorous and glitzy post, Helen! I admire anyone who can move to music, especially in such an entertaining way! Your captures of their joy and motion is wonderful! (They're not on your window sill, are they?)
