Growing up fast

My friend Amy is at the course this week with her son Tristan. I photographed Tristan back in April [] when he was only four months old and it??s astonishing to see how much he??s developed in the intervening three months. He??s sitting up much more now and I suspect it won??t be long before he??s on the move under his own steam ?? he??s very happy to stand up with only the lightest support from Amy??s fingers. The most noticeable difference as I took his photo though was his reaction as I disappeared behind the camera. Back in April he would be smiling happily at me but would look very worried when I disappeared behind my camera. However, now he seems to understand that I??m still there, even though I??m hiding behind this big, black clicky contraption and as a result I caught lots more happy, smiley shots of him. I can see Tristan is going to become a regular star on my blog as the years go by!
