I decided to make a detour on my journey to Exeter this morning, stopping off in Salisbury to visit the Cathedral. I last visited Salisbury Cathedral back in September 2007, fairly early in my discovery of photography and I was really looking forward to having another attempt to photograph this magnificent building. Whenever I visit churches I always find myself marvelling at the way the light creates shapes as it enters the building and today was no exception. Everywhere I looked I found little pools of light illuminating the Cathedral??s many architectural delights.
