Faces from Felsted

I stopped off in Felsted this morning and although the interminable rain deterred me from wandering very far I did take a look around the church. While I was there I found these two characters on the floor near the altar and I thought the contrasting textures in the stone and brass looked rather beautiful in the diffuse light coming in through the window.

You're right about the contrast and the brass look. Great catch.

I know Felsted week, there used to be the most wonderful restaurant called The Boot there near the school.
Your images are extraordinarily sharp.
