My inspiration for this was a photo I saw on my friend Tanya's timeline on Facebook this evening - a series of footprints created from pebbles. I figured I probably had enough pebbles of various sizes, collected from numerous beaches on my travels, to create at least one foot so I raided my bits and pieces tin, found the necessary stones and laid them out. Placed on white paper they looked a bit dull so I set about exercising my rather inexperienced Photoshop muscles, creating a mirror image footprint to complete a pair. Having done this I found an image of some sand online and fiddled around, using various bits of knowhow I've picked up at the camera club and from online tutorials to complete my scene of footprints on a sandy beach. It's a bit rough and ready (don't look to closely or you'll see all the flaws in my technique!) but it was fun to do and I learnt as much from my failures as I did from my successes.

Stone-cloning! How clever, Helen.
