New angles

During a visit to Chichester for a rehearsal today I took a brief stroll around the Cathedral cloisters, looking for details I??d previously missed. It was quite busy but I still found some interesting corners which were free of wandering tourists. As I emerged from the cloisters the sun began to peep out from behind the clouds, briefly illuminating the Cathedral spire and I was able to catch one shot before it disappeared again and the gloom returned.

The contrast of light in the first one is very delicate and gives of the power to your centring.

Always pays to look upward especially in Churches and Cathedrals, love the Spire.

Beautiful shot in #2 showing the exposed timbers. I am imagining that they had it plastered at one point but could not keep up with the cracks.
