Footprints in time

by Helen Hooker January. 31, 2015 3066 views

At lunchtime today we had another heavy fall of snow so I decided to go out with my camera before it melted. As I walked down the road I stopped to take a photograph of some footprints in the fresh snow then continued my walk towards the woods. I was just a few yards further on when the snow suddenly turned into rain. I continued on my way in the hope that perhaps the snow would have survived among the shelter of the trees but disappointingly all I found was patchy slush. Instead I headed back home and by the time I reached the spot where I'd taken this brief snapshot of a moment in time all that remained was damp pavement.

Aren't you glad you shot it when you did?! I really like this shot and you got a great angle on it.

Nice shot. Too many things are fleeting.

There is something very appealing about a set of footprints - appearing and disappearing. Beautiful capture...
