After hours

My friend Jan brought me for a walk through the Devon countryside to see Saltram House [nationaltrust.org.uk] this evening. We started off beside the River Plym and the path gradually led us into woodland before we finally emerged into open countryside and the grounds of Saltram House. Even though it was well after closing time and the National Trust staff had long since gone home we found a gate open and I was able to take some photos of this handsome eighteenth century home.

I'm so sorry that I've been too busy to visit your posts, Helen - but I'm happy that I found this one. I like everything about #3 - the clarity in the details is great!
