Catching the last of the light

arrived in Wells a little later than I'd hoped this evening and immediately legged it round to the Cathedral with the hope of catching the last of the evening sunlight. Sadly it had already sunk behind the surrounding buildings but there was still enough light to bring out some of the delicate architectural details on the west front of the building.

Impressive structure.
The well-worn walls add so much character.
Amazing detail!
