Sticking with tradition

by Helen Hooker July. 05, 2016 1920 views

Several months ago I sowed some seeds with the idea of cultivating some summer colour for our garden. They all grew well and the cornflowers I planted are now in full bloom, in a variety of colours, from pink to blue, with every conceivable shade in between. I picked a single flower today to shoot for my daily picture and decided to go for a simple study of a traditional blue one.

Cornflowers have the same connotation as poppies in the U.K.
A beautiful study Helen.
