The Kaffir Lilies in our garden are in full bloom at the moment, lending a welcome splash of scarlet on a grey day like today. I wanted to catch a photo of them before they fade so I cut one and brought it indoors. A sheet of white paper stuck to the kitchen window created a simple backdrop and I used a little off-camera flash for illumination.
