Early morning stare-out

by Helen Hooker October. 19, 2016 1254 views

I've been doing some reading about the best settings for action photography when using my mirrorless camera over the weekend.  When I saw the Red Poll cattle ambling across the plains on my way into work this morning I stopped to try out the new settings, with the intention of capturing them on the move.  Sadly the cow I picked had other ideas and he decided to engage me in a stare-out, remaining absolutely motionless!  I guess perhaps I'll need to find a more cooperative subject to experiment on in future!
