Ageing gracefully

The days I find it hardest to maintain my daily photography habit are those winter days when I spend working indoors during the daylight hours. Today was one such day so I made a point of taking a quick stroll with my camera during our lunch break to see what I could find around the Cumbrian village of Witherslack. It's a pretty enough village but this old Land Rover caught my eye and I immediately knew it would make a great black and white picture. It's amazing how these old Landies just keep going - judging by its weathered appearance, I bet this one is still worked hard by its owner!
