Snow makes everything more beautiful

I'm not sure I'd have wanted to sit here today!

I always try to make the most of snow on the rare occasions it comes to our area.  We awoke to a light covering this morning so I put on lots of layers of clothing and headed off towards Alsa Woods.

Hints of spring growth, despite the cold weather

The silver birch trees were definitely enhanced by the sprinkling of snow

There was even less snow in the woods but the delicate dusting created a beautiful effect and made the muddy paths seem more photogenic.

The M11 was busy, despite the weather. The sun glistened beautifully off the wet road.

From there I headed across the M11 motorway to the Aubrey Buxton Nature Reserve and finally home, having covered some three miles.

This lady walking her dogs in the nature reserve added a welcome point of focus to my photo

Lovely snow shots. Where I live now we rarely see snow, I truly miss it! Thanks for reminding me how beautiful it is!

Thank you Stephanie! We get very little snow so I always try to make the most of the opportunity when we do get some!

Even a smattering makes a difference, especially through your lens. Mxx

Thanks Marilyn! I have a down coat (bought in the sale back in 2012) ready for when we finally get enough snow to need it - I'm hoping I'll need it to go out with my camera one day!

I absolutely LOVE all of these! Those are amazing! I am so envious of you and being able to go see all of that! Soon for me hopefully! I love that you have snow; still none here.
