A splash of avian colour

We had a colourful visitor to our bird feeding station this morning, no doubt tempted in by the plentiful sunflower hearts in the snowy weather.  The bullfinch stayed just long enough for me to catch his photo before being replaced by a rather rowdy charm of greenfinches (the correct collective noun for them - I checked!).

His mum obviously never told him it was rude to eat with your mouth open!

Beautiful! In additions to the birds I also love the water drops.
