Tiger spotting

Kevin and I took a very pleasant drive up to Duxford this afternoon for a little aviation photography, as well as a cuppa and a piece of cake, of course!  There wasn't a lot of airborne action, other than a couple of Tiger Moths running pleasure flights for visitors.  However, there was some welcome sunshine and a lovely sky, with bubbling clouds, so it seemed rude not to photograph them.  Given the recent decision to use my mirrorless system more I'd taken both my cameras with me to see how they compare.  The first picture here was taken with my Canon 7D mk2 and 100-400mm lens, while the second was shot with my Panasonic GX8 and the 35-100mm lens.  Aside from needing to be cropped (because of the shorter lens) I think the second picture compares very well.  I had a decent success rate with both cameras and, once I've got a longer lens for it, I may well try my little camera for the odd airshow this summer.

#2 has greater clarity for me, but both are excellent, as always!
