When one door closes, another so often opens, and this was certainly the case this evening. Our plans to photograph the aircraft coming in to land at Stansted Airport were foiled because the wind was blowing in the wrong direction. As a result we headed to another spot and, although I had no luck with the aeroplanes, there was plenty of potential for some light trains on a nearby road. I tried to time my shots to include passing lorries to create some height and my strategy seemed to work.
While I was attempting to capture the aircraft coming in over the landing lights my camera completely failed to focus a couple of times. However, the resulting study in coloured bokeh was quite appealing so I decided to share one of them here!
