Edible Minis

Those of you who read my blog regularly will know I have a soft spot for anything Mini related. When we attended the Mini Festival at Snetterton back in May I spotted a stall selling car shaped chocolate moulds and I just had to have one of the Mini-shaped ones! Today I finally decided to give the mould a test drive and, with a little practice I think it might produce good results. I used milk chocolate today and only had enough to create four and a half Minis but they taste good and I think I might try some higher quality dark chocolate next time!

On an unrelated note, I finally posted my second batch of photos from St. Paul's Cathedral today. I had a much better idea of what I wanted to photograph on my second visit and I think the resulting pictures are an improvement too. This picture is just a taster of what I photographed - if you'd like to see the rest please do pop over to my blog post about it from Thursday 24th August.

4 and a half minis huh... looks like you ate 1 and a half before the photo was taken :)  I love the stair case image. It's beautiful.

Guilty as charged, I'm afraid! In fairness, I tried to take the others out of the mould too soon so they were pretty pathetic examples!
