This evening's camera club get together was a very different affair to our usual meetings. Instead of a talk or a competition we were visited by Joanne Frisby, or Jungle Jo as she is known professionally, and her amazing collection of animals. She told us all about her reptiles, spiders and amphibians and we had time to photograph each one in turn.

We turned all the lights out and Jo used an ultraviolet torch to illuminate her Tanzanian Red Clawed Scorpion and show it natural bioluminescence

Last time Jo visited the club one of her geckos decided to leap onto the top of a tripod but tonight the animals were all remarkably well behaved, although we did have to dissuade the Ackie Lizard from strolling off the table!
