Time is money

There's been a lot of talk in recent days about the many 'bargains' available over the Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend which are really nothing of the sort. I've resisted the temptation to fall for any shiny new pieces of camera gear but I did use the odd online discount code to create my 2018 photo calendar, a new batch of greetings cards for my Etsy shop and a photobook for the Recorder Summer School today. All of these things were on my 'to do' list in any case so it was handy to save a few pennies at the same time! By the time I'd done that and arranged some music the light had gone outside so I decided to take a photo indoors which reflected my bargains from a very industrious day.

I like the setting - actually this "Merlin's purse"! It's munching down the money to preserve it and not to spill it! +1

Helen! Hi...
Long time.  Love the whimsical design on the change purse.  Just the right burst of color for this shot.

Darn...I do want to make a calendar as well but just haven't gotten to it.  I really like the surface of the table...like a river bed sweeping your coins downstream.
