I planted our summer flowers a little late this year so it’s taken a while for them to get established in the garden. Despite the intensely hot, dry weather, they’re now growing nicely and we’ve got a beautiful variety of colour around the garden. I spotted this particularly lovely Cosmos flower when I arrived home from work this afternoon and thought I’d grab the opportunity to photograph it before it fades and dies.
