Meeting the locals

After all our students had departed for home this afternoon I went for a walk, meeting some of the locals en-route. Socks, the Llanerchindda cat, was very happy to pose for me, although I had to shoot this through gaps in the fence as she couldn’t quite muster the energy to climb over the top to me!

Walking up the steep hill from the farm I found a different view of the viaduct, looking down through a field of sheep. They were pretty blasé about my presence and didn’t even glance up from their grazing.

It was a different tale at the bottom of the hill. Here, the sheep were making a real racket, calling loudly to each other. I walked up to the gate to see what all the fuss was about, and they came racing over towards me. I never did find out what they were being so vocal about, but I did manage to catch a few photos before they lost interest in me and wandered away again!
