Wheelie bin camouflage

I’ve spent very little time in our garden recently. I still get to watch the birds flocking to our feeding station from the kitchen but I can’t really photograph them from there. This morning I used our wheelie bins for camouflage, sitting beside the end of the garage. While they don’t completely hide me from the birds, they make my silhouette less obvious. After a few minutes the birds began to return and I caught a few photos as they flitted about. The only ones who weren’t at all convinced by my strategy were the goldfinches – evidently I need to find a way to hide more effectively to photograph them!

What you need Helen is a wheelie bin outfit. I'm sure you could get one from a fancy dress shop. I look forward to seeing the photos 🤣 merry Christmas!
