Staying ahead of the weather

I headed south west, to Minehead, this morning for a recorder orchestra course which starts tomorrow. Heavy snow was forecast for the region later in the day, so I set off early to try and stay ahead of the weather. Fortunately, I got to Minehead before the snow, so I checked into my B&B and took a stroll down to the harbour.

By the time I got there, the skies above me were leaden and rain was beginning to fall – the precursor to the promised snow. I didn’t feel inclined to hang around for too long but I took a few photos, including one of the Belinda Bee, a boat I’ve shot on previous visits, in 2016 and 2017.

Great shots Helen. The steepness of the steps  in the first must be a nightmare in wet weather.
