77th Members Meeting - Smokin’ Sunday!

For my final post from the Goodwood Members Meeting I’m featuring the racing action from the Sunday. I’ve already shared my Mini pictures, but there was plenty of other excitement on track too. A large fire at the nearby amenity tip threw a good deal of smoke over us at times, adding atmosphere to some of my pictures. However, there was often a degree of tyre and oil smoke from the cars themselves.

One of the most exciting races was the S.F.Edge Trophy, featuring some incredible Edwardian cars, all dating before 1923. My favourite had to be the Beast of Turin – a 28 litre leviathan, which churned out smoke and flames at regular intervals!
