I cannily booked my train home from Liverpool for late in the afternoon, knowing that would give me even more time to explore with my camera. I headed for the Albert Dock again early this morning, as I didn’t feel I’d captured the essence of the place to my satisfaction yesterday.
Strolling around the docks I found some scenes that interested me, although I’m sure I’d have found more with the right light.
From there I popped into the Museum of Liverpool. I took plenty of photos of the exterior yesterday but didn’t have time to go inside. I’d heard there was a spectacular spiral staircase at its heart, and I wasn’t disappointed! The strong lines and contrasts of light and shade were so photogenic, and I spent a happy half hour finding the best views, before moving on to my next location.
