Fixed focus

Over recent weeks I’ve been shooting again with my Olympus XA1 camera. It’s a very basic little camera, with fixed focus and a 40mm prime lens so careful composition is the only creative tool left for me to control. I spent some time using it around the Colne Valley Railway, loaded with some Fujifilm Industrial colour film. This is a new film to me and I quite like its colours. I usually use black and white film in my old cameras, but sometimes you just have to try something new!

I didn’t finish the roll of film at the steam railway so I polished it off during my travels during the last month, including a trip to Bristol and a couple of pics from Hatfield Forest.

Great set, Helen.  I think #1 and#9 should be saying 'I have my eye on you'

The colour palette gives it a very vintage look👍
