Foraging in the garden

I was awake early this morning, so I took a brief stroll around the walled gardens before breakfast. I went armed with my macro lens, in search of insects to photograph before they became to active. I found very few bees on this occasion, but a plethora of hoverflies. I spent quite some time lurking by a honeysuckle bush and eventually struck gold with one who remained still for long enough. Elsewhere I discovered a gorgeous white hydrangea, smothered in pom-poms of flowers.

Did you manage to look at the hydrangers  name?  If its Annabell, I can easilly take a cutting from ours.  Be warned though it can grow big and will need a large space after a couple of years.  Both are great shots, well done.
