One of the highlights of the Goodwood Revival is the St Mary’s Trophy. It features touring cars from the 1950s. It’s a two part race, and there’s always some close competition. This afternoon we picked a spot on the bank at Madgwick, the circuit’s first corner, to watch part 1. Unusually the racing wasn’t quite as exciting as usual, although that didn’t stop me taking plenty of photos and capturing some of the action. Fingers crossed part 2 tomorrow is more dramatic!
