The Goodwood Revival is always a great opportunity for people watching. Visitors are strongly encouraged to wear clothes appropriate to the period Goodwood Motor Circuit was open for racing, between 1948 and 1966. This gives street photography style photos a completely different feel and I’m always on the lookout for interesting characters and fashions.

My meanderings over the weekend have bagged me a sizeable collection of people photos so I’ll share them in two batches. I’m starting off with photos where I was attracted by the characters or their activities, shot over the three days. I love street photography in monochrome and it seems particularly appropriate for this event, giving that retro feel.

Lovely set.  I hope the parents of the girl in the J40 pedal car get to see it.  I wonder how she rared in the race.
