During my trip to Shrewsbury last week I found a fabulous used camera shop in the market. I resisted the temptation to buy a ‘new’ old camera, but I did purchase a couple of rolls of expired Kodak TMAX 400 film. With a use by date of 2006 and a cost of just £3 each it was worth a punt and I took one of the rolls out for a spin today, in my Ondu pinhole camera.
I drove over to Saffron Walden to photograph St. Mary’s Church and took my digital camera along too. With low light levels inside the church I knew I’d be shooting exposures running into several minutes with the pinhole camera, so I figured I could use that time to shoot for my prime lens project. It’ll be a few days before I get my developed negatives back but at least I can share a handful of photos from my visit immediately.
