Boxing Day details

After lunch today we went for our traditional stroll to Harbour Cars, a sports car showroom just down the road from my parents’ house. Naturally, it’s closed on Boxing Day but that didn’t stop Kevin and my Dad peering through the window and discussing which cars they might buy if money allowed! I spent a few minutes looking for interesting abstracts among the cars and nearby buildings, once again using my hired 42.5mm lens. The problem with having an f1.2 lens as your disposal is the temptation to shoot everything at f1.2, just because you can – a lure I’m struggling to resist. Much as I love the look it gives, I really will make a point of using it in other ways before I have to send it back!
