Along the coast to Barmouth

Late this morning we headed north along the coast road, stopping off at various viewpoints on the way to admire the scenery. A single track railway line follows the coastline and I was lucky enough to be framing up a photo as a train came by – perfect timing!

Eventually we ended up at the seaside town of Barmouth, where we took a stroll along the beach. I had the pleasure of making friends with an unbelieveably cute puppy, who was gambolling on the sands and the photos I captured of her seem to emanate pure joy. As the afternoon wore on, some subtle pre-sunset colours began to appear – the perfect end to a relaxing day by the sea.
