City of London Churches: St. Mary Moorfields

My final destination today was the only Roman Catholic church in the square mile of City of London – St Mary Moorfields. Hidden away behind two shops, it’s one of the newest churches in the City, built in 1903. Most of the City churches have been all but deserted when I’ve visited them. By contrast, there were several people praying in total silence at St. Mary’s when I arrived. Not wishing to disturb anyone I set my camera in silent mode and took a handful of photos before continuing on my way.

You'd barely realise this was the entrance to a church, were it not for the carvings on the facade.
