Textures to enjoy

For my morning walk today I crossed the railway line and walked a mile or so down the road. Not the most exciting route, but it was interesting to have time to take in what was around me on a road I normally only drive along. I couldn’t get a good view of the derelict garage in its entirety but made do instead with the lovely weathered textures of its window. My second shot was a much smaller detail I spotted on the top of a brick wall. I’d only brought my little compact camera along today, but using its macro setting I was able to get close enough to capture this small but perfectly formed plant.
